The Lindemans Coonawarra Limestone Ridge Vineyard Shiraz Cabernet is sourced from 35 year old vines on the acclaimed 24 hectare Limestone Ridge Vineyard, named because it is located directly above a ridge of Limestone which forms the 'backbone' of Coonawarra's famous Terra Rossa strip. The soil depth is particularly shallow over the Limestone base and results in an exceptionally well-drained, low yielding vineyard. The resulting wine is a Coonawarra classic, with rich, peppery fruit, superb structure and exceptional ageing qualities.

Lindemans' association with the Coonawarra spans over three very successful decades. During this time, their great vineyards, the unique 'terra rossa' soil and quality winemaking have all contributed to Lindemans' international reputation for its Coonawarra reds.
