Grape Variety: Shiraz 100% Estate Grown Region: McLaren Vale Colour: Deep crimson red with garnet hues Bouquet: Concentrated ripe blackberry, with hints of mocha, licorice, sarzparella and plum pudding. Palate: Chunky slabs of sweet ripe forward blackberry fruit continue on the palate which is full-bodied, rich and concentrated. Oak Maturation: Aged for 14 months in American oak hogsheads. Alcohol: 13.9% Light underlying tannin throughout and just a suggestion of lovely charry lightly toasted almondy oak to lengthen the finish. This rich tasty full-bodied Shiraz is ideallysuited to rare concentrated meat dishes such as prime char grilled rump, kangaroo, tasty cheeses and rich pasta sauces.
