An exciting wine of great depth, superb structure and generous oak complexity. Maturation: Fermented and thence matured for 18 months in new French (64%) and new American hogsheads (36%). Bottled and cellared for a further 3½ years prior to release. Vintage: Good early season growth and spring rains, followed by a warmer than average January and February meant, lower yields and wines of great intensity.
