As the flagship of Tatachilla, Foundation Shiraz represents a commitment to excellence in both viticulture and winemaking. Fruit was individually selected from low yielding Shiraz vineyards in McLaren Vale, vinified in traditional open fermenters, then aged in American and French oak for 18 months. Meticulous barrel selection was carried out to create a wine of great depth and richness. A bouquet of plum and spicy ripe Shiraz enhances the robust fruit flavour with fine tannins and great length.
