1999 Shiraz

Rich full bodied red with ripe fruit flavours, subtle oak nuances, and firm tannins, which can be enjoyed now or cellared for extra complexity.

Traditional methods were employed in the production of the 1999 Shiraz. The wine was fermented in open tanks with hand plunging, followed by maturation in a selection of both new and older French and American oak hogsheads.

Deep brick red in colour with purple hues, this wine shows intense aromas of raspberry and spice, with underlying oak nuances. Rich and complex on the palate, showing distinct raspberry and nutmeg flavours, well-balanced oak and firm tannins. The spicy, ripe berry flavours linger on the palate.
