In 1921 at the age of 26 Jack Stanton planted a block of shiraz on his Gracerray Vineyard.  It survives today and still produces supreme quality fruit as was used in this great wine.  Only the best vintages are released under the Jack’s Block label and we consider this wine worthy of the honour in recognizing Jack Stanton’s 50 years contribution to the Rutherglen and Australian wine industry.

                                    14  Months in American Oak barrels

ALC/VOL:                   13.9%

TASTING NOTES:  A classic rich Rutherglen red with intense fruit and plum characters on the nose augmented by some fresh new oak used in it’s maturation.  The palate has rich, ripe flavours with good fruit weight and excellent flavour persistence.
